Cercobelus daphne Noyes & Hanson, 1996:108 View in CoL , 111-112. Holotype E, Costa Rica, NHMUK, examined.

DIAGNOSIS. Female (length about 2.8mm): scape yellow; scutellum black mostly with a weak blue sheen, apex slightly coppery; all coxae dark brown, mid coxa partially mixed pale orange; fore and mid leg mostly pale orange, mid tibia slightly dusky proximally, hind leg dark brown with femur proximally pale orange; fore wing infuscate at apex of venation; scrobes very shallow, meeting dorsally; scape about 5.7X as long as broad; pedicel about 2X as long as broad; funicle with all segments clearly longer than broad, F1 slightly longer than F2, remaining segments subequal, F1 with longitudinal sensilla; clava a little shorter than F2-F4 combined; mesoscutum about 2X as long as pronotum medially in dorsal view; marginal vein punctiform, not quite touching anterior wing margin; hind wing about 3.7X as long as broad; propodeum about one-third as long as scutellum, with a distinct, longitudinal, median carina and some very shallow, irregular sculpture, spiracle separated from anterior margin of propodeum by about 0.7X its own diameter; gaster nearly as long as head and thorax combined; apex of syntergum smooth. Male: unknown.
