(Figs 1485-1490)

DIAGNOSIS. Female: unknown. Male (length about 1.2mm): fore wing (Fig. 1487) strongly infuscate in basal half; linea calva closed by a single line of setae; pedicel (Fig. 1485) slightly swollen; digitus (Fig. 1490) with 2 or 3 apical teeth, aedeagus about 6.5X as long as broad and about 0.6X as long as mid tibia with apex acute.

Female. Unknown.

Male (holotype): length 1.15mm ( CPD) .

Head dark brown to black and moderately shiny; occipital margin, eye margins and interantennal prominence weakly coppery-purple; antenna (Fig. 1485) with radicle brown; scape generally brown, but orange-brown internally; pedicel brown, dark brown proximally; flagellum brown; maxillary palpus brown; thorax dorsally black and only slightly shiny, less so than frontovertex, but with a slight coppery purple sheen, side and venter dark brown, mesopleuron generally with a stronger brassy and weak purple sheen; coxae dark brown; all femora dark brown; all tibiae dark brown, pale orange at apex, mid tibia more broadly pale orange; all tarsi pale orange, apical tarsomere on each slightly dusky; fore wing (Fig. 1487) infuscate to apex of stigmal vein, apex hyaline; hind wing weakly infuscate in proximal half, apex hyaline; propodeum black and slightly shiny; gaster dark brown, generally with a dull coppery purple sheen mixed with some brassy, green, blue and purple reflections.

Head (Fig. 1488) about 2.5X as wide as frontovertex, in profile about 2.2X as high as deep, submenisciform, in profile clearly more or less evenly curved from occipital margin to mouth margin, interantennal prominence slightly protuberant; occipital margin sharp, carinate; ocelli forming an angle of about 95°; inner eye margins clearly diverging in front of posterior ocelli; frontovertex shiny, generally with, moderately deep, sometimes touching, piliferous punctures interspersed with regular, polygonally reticulate sculpture, giving it the appearance of the surface of a thimble or golf ball, each puncture about as large as diameter of ocellus; frontovertex with about 7 or 8 pairs of setae in front of anterior ocellus, a line of sparse setae along inner eye margin continued along lower eye margin; temple and gena quite shiny, with shallow, longitudinally elongate, polygonally reticulate sculpture; eye reaching occipital margin, with conspicuous, dense, pale setae that are each about as long as diameter of facet; scrobes moderately deep, weakly margined dorsally and laterally, narrowly ∩-shaped, meeting, generally with sculpture a little shallower than that on frontovertex and slightly transversely elongate; interantennal prominence weak, dorsally rounded, with shallow, fine, regular, polygonally reticulate sculpture; antenna as in Fig. 1485; scape subcylindrical, about 5.5X as long as broad; funicle segments subquadrate, F1-F2 subequal and clearly smaller than F3-F5 which are also subequal; clava hardly broadened, less than 1.1X as wide as F5, nearly as long as F3-F5 combined, apex with distinct, oblique truncation; malar sulcus present, but very shallow and indistinct; clypeal margin concave, although slightly protuberant medially; mandible with 3 short, subequal teeth; palp formula 3-3. Relative measurements: HW 95, HH 85, FV 38, POL 24, OOL 1, OCL 4, AOL 16.5, EL 62, EW 40, MS 24, SL 30.5, SW 5.5.

Thorax (Fig. 1489) in dorsal view with pronotum short, largely hidden by head, with posterior margin broadly and shallowly concave; dorsum of thorax with similar sculpture to that on frontovertex in ocellar area between piliferous punctures; visible part of mesoscutum about 1.9X as broad as long, notaular lines present, distinct and reaching slightly more than half way across mesoscutum; scutellum about as broad as long; fore wing with venation and distribution of setae as in Figs 1486, 1486; propodeum (Fig. 1489) medially about 0.2X as long as scutellum and with several irregular, longitudinal carinae and distinct, fine, polygonally reticulate sculpture. Relative measurements: FWL 43, 18.5; HWL 25.5, HWW 8.

Genitalia (Fig. 1490) with 2 or 3 apical teeth on digitus and aedeagus about 0.6X as long as mid tibia, apically spatulate and acute. Relative measurements: AL 53.5, MT 89.5.
