Material examined. 1 male (46.6 x 32.1 mm) ( DABFUK), Minicoy, 28 September 2014 ; 1 male (35.6 x 24.6 mm) ( DABFUK), Bitra, 13 May 2015 .

Remarks. Previously recorded from Lakshadweep by Alcock (1894) and Rao et al. (1989). Specimens were also observed in Kavaratti (R. Ravinesh pers. obs.) but not collected.
