Material examined. 3 males (9.1 x 4.9 mm, 10.7 x 5.9 mm, 12.0 x 6.4 mm), 2 females (9.6 x 5.3 mm, 9.8 x 5.3 mm) ( DABFUK), Minicoy, 26 September 2014 .

Remarks. This is a distinctive and widespread species in the Indo-West Pacific ( Serène 1984). Previously recorded from Lakshadweep Islands ( Rao et al. 1989; Venkataraman et al. 2004).
