Oncopagurus gracilis ( Henderson, 1888) View in CoL

Parapagurus gracilis Henderson, 1888: 92 View in CoL , pl. 10, fig. 3.

Material examined. None.

Distribution. Western Atlantic— USA (Florida), Gulf of Mexico to Brazil (Pernambuco, Alagoas, Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo); Eastern Atlantic—from Gulf of Guinea and off Angola ( Coelho & Ramos-Porto 1987; Lemaitre 1989, 2014; Rieger 1998; Melo 1999; Coelho et al. 2007; Felder et al. 2009; Lemaitre & Tavares 2015).

Remarks. Although previous records state that Oncopagurus gracilis occurs in Brazil as far south as Alagoas, Lemaitre & Tavares (2015) reported abundant material of this species from off the northern coast of São Paulo, with no information about the specific samples of MZUSP.
