Summary. Epeolus rasnitsyni Astafurova et Proshchalykin , sp. n. is described and illustrated from the Pamir Mountains (Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region of Tajikistan).
An updated checklist of the ten species of Epeolus so far known from Central Asia is provided.
