Onichodon rugicollis (Fall, 1925)
This rarely seen eucnemid species was previously taken in Alabama, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, Wisconsin ( Muona 2000; Otto 2010, 2013b), but now it has been recorded for the first time in Iowa.
