Diagnosis

Head in dorsal view with gena flat. Gena close to the junction of occipital and hypostomal carinae projected into a conspicuous spatulate tooth. Pronotum mediodorsally with a transverse crest. Propodeum with anterior transverse carina centrally indented; the posterior transverse carina absent; area basalis not enclosed.

Comments. It is clear in the Holotype pictures the presence of a conspicuous transverse crest mediodorsally on the pronotum (figs. 3‒5, Herrera-Flórez & Penteado-Dias 2019), although not mentioned in the text. There are also other visible features on the propodeum and metapleuron that need highlighting: lateromedian longitudinal carina is absent, except for a very short vestige at base, which means that the area basalis is not enclosed; the posterior transverse carina is completely absent, which means that the area lateralis is also not enclosed; juxtacoxal carina is absent. The specimen examined has 2 basal hamuli on tubular vein C, and 4 distal hamuli on vein RA, forming 2 clusters of 2 hamuli each. All colors in the examined specimen are lighter than those of the holotype, but the color distribution pattern is the same.

Distribution. Southeastern Brazil (Minas Gerais and São Paulo states).

Material examined. Brazil, Minas Gerais, Mariana, 20°12’53”S; 43°22’17”W, 05.iv‒08.iv.2019, Malaise {trap}. Bruna Karen Pinheiro Costa leg. [1 ♀, CCT-UFMG-IHY-2202828 ] GoogleMaps .
