Discussion. Recently, Pang et al. (2023) reported one new species from Yunnan Province, viz. Phryganogryllacris truncata Pang, Zhang & Bian, 2023 . However, the name Phryganogryllacris truncata was preoccupied by Li et al. ’s in 2014. Herein, I provide a new name as Phryganogryllacris truncilamina nom. nov.
