Key to the Germalus View in CoL species of the Malagasy region
1. Body length> 6mm. Body colour uniformly pale ochraceous with dark blackish, rounded spots in humeral angles and corial apices...................................................................... Germalus benyovszkyi View in CoL sp.nov.

2. Pronotum almost rectangular, slightly narrowing anteriorly. Punctuation of median vein of corium almost complete. Colouration sordid ochraceous with dark brownish punctures, spots at humeral angles faded, posterior margin of corium sometimes red........................................................................... - Pronotum more trapezoidal with slight lateral impressions medially. Median vein of corium punctate in the apical third only.
