Family Mictyridae View in CoL
The male gonopore is sternal and located not very far from the P5 coxa close to suture 7/8. The penis is wide and setiferous ( Guinot 1979a: fig. 29A, C). The Mictyridae Dana, 1851 , referred to Ocypodoidea ( Ng, Guinot & Davie 2008: 239), shows several unique morphological and ecological characters that could merit its separation at a suprafamilial rank.
