Argentinian distribution: Santa Cruz.

Ecology: This species was found in permanent lakes. It was recorded at altitudes between 188 and 788 m a.s.l., with mean annual temperature around 7 ºC and electrical conductivity values ranging from 313 to 980 μS/cm.
