Diagnosis: Body length 8.0– 8.7 mm; abdominal tergum IV with posterolateral corner spinose and produced posteriorly ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 ); male abdominal tergum VII with posterior margin straight ( Fig. 7E View FIGURE 7 ); lateral margins of phallosoma with two distinct grooves ( Fig. 7K View FIGURE 7 ) ( Nieser & Melo 1997); female subgenital plate with posterior margin sharply incised at midline, forming two rounded lobes ( Fig. 9E View FIGURE 9 ) ( Nieser 1975; Rodrigues et al., unpublished data); female abdominal tergum VIII narrowly rounded apically ( Fig. 10E View FIGURE 10 ); valvulae 2 dentate along lateral margins ( Fig. 11E View FIGURE 11 ); distal portion of metapleura narrowly rounded and produced posteriorly ( Fig. 12C View FIGURE 12 ).

Comments: This species shares some morphological characteristics with P. bipunctulus and P. subflavus , including the third abdominal sternum with a robust, spiniform median carina produced posteriorly ( Figs. 8B, D View FIGURE 8 ).
