Current status: Nosopon chanabense ( Ansari, 1951) ; Tendeiro 1959: 201; Price et al. 2003: 133.

Type host: Gyps himalayensis Hume.

Type locality: Faisalabad [as Lyallpur, Punjab], Pakistan .

Type material: Holotype female deposited in the NHML [slide NHML010662927 View Materials ] and one paratype female also in the NHML [slide NHML010662928 View Materials ].
