Current status: Myrsidea rohi Ansari, 1956f .

Type host: Catharus gracilirostris gracilirostris Salvin.

Type locality: Irazu Volcano; Costa Rica.

Type material: Holotype male designated by Ansari (1956f: 171) deposited in the USNM [slide 67998], but the slide is incorrectly labelled as “ lectotype ”. The location of the allotype female and six paratypes is unknown, presumed lost.
