Current status: Myrsidea sultanpurensis Ansari, 1951 ; Clay 1966: 382, figs 4, 47, 63.
Type host: Ceryle lugubris guttulata Stejneger = Megaceryle lugubris guttulata (Stejneger) . In error ( Clay 1966: 382).
Type locality: Kullu [as Kulu], India .
Type material: Holotype female and allotype male deposited in the NHML [slide NHML010659994 View Materials ]. Although this slide is only labelled as “ TYPE ”, its host data agree with Ansari’s (1951: 191) type information.
