Type host: Corvus cryptoleucus Couch.

Type locality: Illinois, U.S.A.

Type material: Holotype male (labelled as “ TYPE ”) and allotype female deposited in the NHML [slide NHML010670415 View Materials ] from the Meinertzhagen collection [12668], and four paratypes (two males, four females) also in the NHML [slides NHML010670416 View Materials , NHML010708759–61 View Materials ].
