Current status: Guimaraesiella (Guimaraesiella) oudhensis ( Ansari, 1956h) ; Gustafsson & Bush 2017: 222, 351, 358, 397, 425; Gustafsson et al. 2019b: 453.

Type host: Turdus merula nigropelios Lafresnay [sic] = Turdus simillimus nigropileus (Lafresnaye) .

Type locality: Mumbai [as Bombay], India .

Type material: Holotype male and allotype female deposited in the NHML [slide NHML010670839 View Materials ] from the Meinertzhagen collection [8472] and nine paratypes (one male and eight females) also in the NHML [slides NHML010670840–42 View Materials , NHML010708966–68 View Materials ]. One paratype female in OSUS ( Gustafsson & Bush 2017: 425).
