Current status: Corvonirmus tasniemae ( Ansari, 1957a) ; Gustafsson & Bush 2017: 195, 353, 355, 376, 420.

Type host: Corvus frugilegus frugilegus Linnaeus.

Type locality: Kabul, Afghanistan .

Type material: Holotype male (labelled as “ TYPE ”) and allotype female deposited in the NHML [slide NHML010670899 View Materials ] from the Meinertzhagen collection [9686] and 10 paratypes (three males and seven females) also in the NHML [slides NHML010670900 View Materials , NHML010709114–17 View Materials ].
