Current status: Echinophilopterus chapini Ewing, 1927 ; Guimarães 1980: 129, figs 1–5, 15–16.

Type host: Psittacula krameri manillensis (Bechstein) .

Type locality: Faisalabad [as Lyallpur, Punjab], Pakistan .

Type material: Not found in any collection we have surveyed, therefore, it is presumed lost .
