Penenirmus sarwatae Ansari, 1955f: 73 , figs 19a–g.

Sturnidoecus serwatae [sic] ( Ansari, 1955f); Ansari 1956g: 167.

Current status: Sturnidoecus sarwatae ( Ansari, 1955f) ; Gustafsson & Bush 2017: 240, 367, 397, 441.

Type host: Turdus rufiventris rufiventris Vieillot.

Type locality: Samaipata [as Samatpata], Bolivia .

Type material: Holotype male [slide 56544] and allotype female deposited in the USNM, from the Carriker collection [slide 16456]. Gustafsson & Bush (2017: 441) listed one male and one female as “ paratypes ” in the USNM incorrectly, because Ansari (1955f: 75) only examined one male, the holotype.
