Type host: Turdus fumigatus obsoletus Lawrence = Turdus obsoletus obsoletus Lawrence.

Type locality: Guapiles , Costa Rica .

Type material: Holotype male [slide 56725] deposited in the USNM, from the Carriker collection. Two paratypes (one male and one female) deposited in OSUS ( Gustafsson & Bush 2017: 440).
