SHENEFELT 1978: 1572 (as synonym of B. maculiger WESMAEL after PAPP 1966: 379). PAPP 1999c: 145 (as synonym of B. otiosus View in CoL ); 2004: 174 (as synonym with B. otiosus View in CoL : female lectotype, four female + one male paralectotypes and with B. piger WESMAEL View in CoL : partim: one female paralectotype, type designation and depository).
R e m a r k: The synonymization of B. explorator View in CoL (jun. name) with B. otiosus View in CoL is based on the examination of the types ( B. explorator View in CoL ) and " Type " of B. otiosus View in CoL , the types are quite identical.
