TYPE LOCALITY: Unknown, probably West Indies .

DISTRIBUTION: West Indies.

COMMENT: Type believed to be from the West Indies. Known only by the two immature specimens upon which the original description was based; see Hall, 1981:854. CAW includes pallidus in Sphiggurus based on its pelage.
