Amauronematus festivus Saarinen, 1950b: 58–60 . Synonymy by Schmidt (1997).

Diagnosis

Its usually mostly black body and structure of its lancet (middle part ventrally concave and slightly convex apically, lamnium 1.2–1.6 times as long as radix) enables identification of the species.

Female

7.0– 8.9 mm (this study; Schmidt 1997). Pterostigma pale; tegula mostly pale; hind femur black; hind tibia black or partly pale; mesepisternum black or with weak pale markings; abdomen dorsally black, laterally and sometimes ventrally pale; valvula 3 black and narrow in dorsal view, usually asymmetrical in lateral view; lamnium 1.2–1.6 times as long as radix (neotype, DEI-GISHym4855, ZMUO.030855).
