Description. Male (fig. 1). Total length 3.80 mm (from anterior margin of clypeus to apices of elytra); width 1.10 mm. Body approximately 3.5 times longer than wide. Head and pronotum yellow brown, antennae, elytra and legs dark brown.
Head (fig. 1A) 0.67 mm long, 0.88 mm wide, triangular. Eyes large and prominent, elliptical, inter-ocular distance approximately 2.5 times greater than the eye diameter. Mandibles with a tooth near apical one-third part of inner edge. Terminal maxillary palpomere and terminal labial palpomere not well visible. Antennae (fig. 1A, B) pectinate, probably surpassing elytral mid-length if extending posteriorly, scape stout and distinctly longer than pedicel, pedicel as long as III and expanding apically, IV distinctly longer than III, IV–X parallel-sided and each with an antennal appendage inserted at a basal cavity on the ventral side, XI bilaterally compressed and widened; relative length of antennomeres as 10:2:3:16:16:16:16:17:15:14:16.
Pronotum (fig.1A, B) 0.61 mm long, 0.85 mm wide, nearly as wide as head, obliquely narrowed anteriorly, all margins nearly straight, anterior angles and posterior angles rounded. Scutellum triangular, nearly twice as wide as long, rounded at apical.
Elytra (fig. 1A, C) 2.80 mm long, 1.10 mm wide, at base slightly wider than pronotum, approximately 2.5 times as long as width at humeri, lateral margins parallel and simple, apices rounded, surface finely punctate, punctures deep and rounded in striate, which distributed along with the moderately indicated longitudinal costae on disc. Hind wing distinctively longer than elytra when unfolded.
Legs (fig. 1A) not well visible, at least left meta-tarsomere I twice longer than tarsomere II.
Abdomen not well visible.
Remarks. The yellow amber piece originally measured 15 × 13 × 5 mm. The legs and abdomen were not well visible in the amber.
