Teinoptila Sauber, 1902

Teinoptila Sauber, 1902: 701 . Type species: Teinoptila interruptella Sauber, 1902 , by monotypy. Choutinea Huang, 1982: 269. Type species: Choutinea shaanxiensis Huang, 1982, by monotypy.

Diagnosis. This genus is quite similar to Yponomeuta in appearance, but can be easily distinguished from it by the apically dilated gnathal arm and the inverted U-shaped sclerite ( Fig. 8 b) on the eighth abdominal segment in male, and by the compactly fused Sc and R1 veins of the hindwing ( Fig. 1 ). Moriuti (1977) described the generic characters in detail.
