This species was not previously recorded from Mt Nimba. During this survey, a large roost was discovered in Yekepa (Liberian Nimba), in the roof of a school 540 m a.s.l. A single individual was also netted above water at ‘Blue Lake’ also on the Liberian side, 880 m a.s.l.
