This species was previously recorded from Liberian Nimba ( Hill, 1982; Wolton et al., 1982). During this study, it was recorded on the Liberian side from 500 m to 1,000 m a.s.l. in a variety of forested and disturbed habitats. It was also recorded roosting in old mine adits on Mt Gangra and Mt Yuelliton , adjacent to Mt Nimba on the Liberian side.
