Material examined. 1♂, Manhao Tropical Forestry Park (23°01’30’’N, 1013°24’02’’E), altitude 490 m, Manhao Town, Gejiu City, Hani-Yi Autonomous Prefecture of Honghe, Yunnan Province, China, Haomiao Zhang leg., 0 2. Notes. The species is first recorded from China. The female possesses very remarkable golden wings with tips clearly darkened ( Figs. 18–19 View FIGURE 17 – 20 ). The locality is a forestry park for tourists at about 500 m in elevation. All the specimens were collected in the afternoon in early May, when it was very hot and temperature was over 35°C. They were hanging on the slim branches of trees in the dense forest to escape the fierce sunshine, only about 2–3 m above ground ( Fig. 17 View FIGURE 17 – 20 ), and one male was collected just 0.5 m above ground. After 16:00h they became active. Copulation was seen in the afternoon in the dense forest ( Fig. 20 View FIGURE 17 – 20 ).

Distribution. China (Hani-Yi Autonomous Prefecture of Honghe, Yunnan Province) and Vietnam.
