Type species: Thubdora acutalis Park, 2018 . TL: DR Congo .
The genus Thubdora is also an Afrotropical and the most diverse genus of the subfamily Torodorinae in the region, comprising 46 known species. Among them, 11 species are recorded from Western Africa.
