Specimens examined. None. Distribution. China (Hainan), Thailand. Remarks. This species was recorded from China with P. lewisi (Bagnall) View in CoL and P. simplus Haga View in CoL by Tong and Zhang

(1989), without detailed information. Wang et al. (2007) indicated two females and one male of this species from Hainan .

P.armatus Okajima in this key is based on the original description.
