Specimens examined. None. Distribution. China (Taiwan), Japan. Remarks. This species is described from Taiwan (Moulton, 1928), and combined to the genus Psephenothrips View in CoL by Okajima (2006) based on a large number of specimens from Japan and Taiwan, China. There is no specimen checked here, but the data used in this paper is from the detailed redescrition by Okajima (2006).
