Specimens examined. None. Distribution. China (Guangdong), Japan. Remarks. Okajima (1977) described this species from Miura Peninsula, Japan based on a few specimens. Tong & Zhang (1989) recorded H. japonicus Okajima View in CoL from Guangdong, China, without detail description. The information of this species is from the original description from Okajima (1977).
