Material examined earlier. Four localities in the State of Mexico, Mexico ( Kotov et al. 2003a).

Subspecies diagnosis. Chitinous insertions within distal segments of swimming setae far from bases of segments; on IDL 3 clusters of long setules; setules on distal lobe of limb II long; longest seta of exopodite III with long, fine setules; seta 1 of exopodite IV relatively short; a two-lobed body on inner margin of limb V.

Distribution. At present, the subspecies is known with certainty only from the central Mexican plateau.
