Thalli are attached, vinaceous-red, up to 7.5 cm. Pinnate branching from the second third of the thalli, which may be alternate or irregular up to third order ( Fig. 5 C View FIGURE 5 ). Apex obtuse, with the apical cell between two lobes ( Fig. 6 E View FIGURE 6 ). Abundant rhizines concentrated in medulla ( Fig. 6 F View FIGURE 6 ). Brush-like haptera. Tetrasporangia sori generally surrounded by wide sterile margins that internally contained many rhizines ( Fig. 6 G View FIGURE 6 ). Tetrasporangia divided decussately cruciate ( Fig. 6 H View FIGURE 6 ). Cystocarps bilocular ( Fig. 6 I, J View FIGURE 6 ).
