Punta Pequeña (26°14’N, 112°28.5’W), southern Baja California (Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California) to Chimbote, Peru ( Chirichigno 1974), including Gulf of California ( Robertson and Allen 2002), and Islas Galápagos ( Grove and Lavenberg 1997).
