To 6.8 cm (2.7 in) SL ( Hubbs and Wisner 1980). Northern Baja California (31°07’N, 118°07’W (Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California) to Chile ( Hubbs and Wisner 1980); Hawaiian Islands ( Fricke et al. 2020). Epipelagic ( Hubbs and Wisner 1980). Although it is listed in the database, we cannot locate the northern Baja California Scripps Institution of Oceanography specimen.
