Key to genera and species of Dryxini  from the Saudi Arabia

1. Notopleuron bearing a single large seta; presutural supra-alar seta lacking; mid- and hind femora moderately long to very long, length subequal to that of abdomen............................................ Corythophora longipes Loew, 1862 

- Notopleuron bearing 2 setae; presutural supra-alar seta usually present; mid- and hind femora normally developed, length much shorter than that of abdomen............................................................................2.

2. Katepisternal seta absent or very weakly developed..................................... Oedenops isis Becker, 1862 

- Katepisternal seta present, usually well developed ( Paralimna Loew  )............................................3.

3. Body generally dark colored, dark brown to grayish brown; eye distinctly higher than wide; gena short, usually slightly less than length of basal flagellomere (subgenus Phaiosterna Cresson  )...... Paralimna (Phaiosterna) bicolor ( Macquart, 1851)
