Counties: Ramsey, Scott.

Comments: This principally western species is known from four specimens, and was last collected in Minnesota in 1951. It is poorly known in the Eastern US but has also been recorded in Michigan ( Gibbs et al. 2017).

Material examined: Ramsey Co.: University Farm , St. Paul : 3 ♁, 17 Aug 1951, R. L. Fischer leg., Helianthus maximiliani ; Scott Co.: 1 ♀, 25 Aug 1922, A.A. Nichol leg., determined by J. Gardner and confirmed by Z. Portman .
