Material examined. Holotype male labelled: “ Vilina pećina, Lebršnik Mts. , 9. XI. 2006, Bosnia & Hercegovina, M. Komnenov leg.” (white label, p)/“ HOLOTYPE Adriaphaenops kevser n. sp. Quéinnec, Pavićević & Ollivier des.” (red label, p), ( CDP), One female, labelled: “BiH, Hercegovina , Gacko env., Lebršnik Mts., Vilina pećina cave , 9.8.2009, D. Čeplík lgt.” (white label, p), ( CJL), one female labelled: “BiH, Hercegovina , Gacko env., Lebršnik Mts., Vilina pećina cave, salt traps , 30.10.2011 – 29.7.2014, Lakota lgt.” (white label, p) ( CRL), two males, labelled: “ Vilina pećina, Lebršnik Mts. 1815 m, env. Gacko, BiH , 9.VI.2016, Ollivier & Quéinnec leg.” (white label, p), (CEO, CEQ).

Diagnosis. L: 4.8–5.7 mm, TL: 4.5–5.25 mm. Head large, elongate, distinctly longer than wide (HL/HW 1,40), frontal furrows moderately impressed, shorter than half of head length, with two pairs of supraorbital setae; neck constriction distinct; genae gently convex and densely pubescent. Clypeus and labrum with three pairs of setae, outer pairs longer. Antennae long (AL 3.45 mm), scape as long as pedicel, shorter than terminal antennomere.

Pronotum elongate, as long and wide as head, with maximum width in anterior third, basal part distinctly narrower than anterior (index PL/PW 1.52).

Elytra hemispherical, distinctly longer than wide (index EL/EW 1.95), with maximum width at middle; elytral surface covered with very sparse, short and erect pubescence; striae absent. Site of stria 3 with four (three discal and one preapical) setae, humeral group of umbilicate pores not aggregated, first anterior pore of humeral group isolated and situated before the level of the first discal seta. Pore 5 located nearer to pore 4 than to pore 6.

Male genitalia ( Fig. 27 View FIGURES 23 – 30 ): aedeagus large and elongate, gently arcuate towards apex in lateral aspect, sagittal aileron very small. Apical lobe slightly curved to left in dorsal aspect. Endophallus with slightly defined, short and elongate copulatory piece which is about one fourth of aedeagus length. Parameres short and wide, each with two thick setae at apex.

Distribution. Bosnia & Hercegovina, Lebršnik Mts., Vilina pećina cave. So far known only from the type locality. Vilina pećina cave is also the type locality for other subterranean Coleoptera , namely Anthroherpon hoermanni hypsophilum Apfelbeck, 1907 , Blattodromus herculeanus Reitter, 1904 , Anillocharis ottonis Reitter, 1903 and Leonhardella (Leonhardella) angulicollis Reitter, 1903 ( Cholevidae, Leptodirini ), as well as Neotrechus setniki Reitter, 1904 ( Carabidae , Trechini ). Two other species of the genus Neotrechus were also found in this cave: Neotrechus hilfi brevipennis Winkler, 1926 and Neotrechus suturalis amplipennis Müller, 1911 .
