Dorsal shield bearing 32–74 or more pairs of moderately long and smooth setae (23 pairs of posterior pilose setae in H. elongatus ). Pre-sternal area with one pair of free and elongated pre-sternal platelets. Sternometasternal shield bearing four pairs of acicular setae st1–4. Genitiventrianal shield bearing 4–6 pairs of smooth pre-anal setae (some pilose in H. elongatus ); one pair of large expulsory vesicles posterior to coxa IV in H. pasohensis . Peritrematal shields fused to endopodal, exopodal and sternometasternal shield. Epistome variably shaped, with a median projection and one pair of lateral extensions or without lateral extensions (in P. elongatus without any elongated median or lateral extension). Chelicera chelate-dentate, fixed digit with 2–4 teeth and movable digit with 2–3 teeth. Cheliceral seta smooth. Male of P. elongatus (the only described male) similar to female, except by having a holoventral shield bearing 14 pairs of setae (st1–5 and nine pairs of pre-anal setae, some of them pilose).
