Finotia maxima Jannone, 1938 

Material examined. Libya, Gasr Garabulli (Tripolitania), 1 ♂ allotype, 1 ♀ holotype, 3 ♂, 3 ♀ paratypes (DAP). Jannone (1938) listed the following main characters to separate maxima  from spinicollis  : larger size, longer antennae, mesonotum longer in the middle, epiproct larger than long. It lives in Libya (Tripolitania).
