MATERIAL EXAMINED. — Fiji. MUSORSTOM 10: stn DW 1333, 16°50’S, 178°13’E, 200-215 m, 1 dd (damaged); stn DW 1384, 18°19’S, 178°06’E, 260-305 m, 1 dd GoogleMaps .
DISTRIBUTION. — Indo-West Pacific: Reunion, Mauritius, Taiwan, the Philippines, New Caledonia, Fiji (new record), shells in 215-260 m, and Tubuaï.
REMARKS. — The shell of C. orchidiflorus bears 3 finely folded, wing-like varices, with adapical and abapical parts of
the wings either separate or joined by a thin webbing.
