Material examined. China: Zhejiang: 1♂, West Tianmushan , 7–9.V.1998, Li-Zhen Li leg. ( SHNU) ; 1♂, Longwangshan , alt. 300–500m, 26.IV.2004, Jing-Wen Zhu leg. ( SHNU) ; 1♀, Lin’an City, East Tianmushan , alt. 800m, 26.IV.2008, Wen-Jia He leg. ( SHNU)
Distribution. China (Yunnan, Zhejiang, Shanxi, Shanghai, Beijing), India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia (Sabah, Java, Lombok), Indonesia (Sulawesi, Timor, Lombok, Java), Philippines (Luzon, Mindoro), Australia, New Guinea, New Caledonia.
Remarks. The specimens of S. dissimilis Sharp, 1874 ( Sharp, 1874a: 87) collected from Zhejiang and Shanxi listed in Puhtz, 2013 are now confirmed as S. rorellus cursorius . Thus these two provinces have to be excluded from the distribution of S. dissimilis .
