Ecology. Eurybathic species, found at depths between 44 ( Peña Cantero & Vervoort 2004) and 1000 m ( El Beshbeeshy 2011). Epibiotic on hydroids ( Peña Cantero & Vervoort 2004).
Distribution. Endemic to the Patagonian region ( El Beshbeeshy 2011), found on the Patagonian shelf and slope ( El Beshbeeshy 2011) and off the western mouth of the Strait of Magellan and the Falkland Islands ( Peña Cantero & Vervoort 2004).
