Note. The type of Thaumasia marginella was not found in any known collection, and the drawings made by Petrunkevitch (1929) do not present enough diagnostic characters to assure the taxonomic status of this species and is here stated as nomen dubium. The type-specimens of Dolomedes marginellus were not found in the collection of the Muséum National d´Histoire Naturelle (MNHN) in Paris and should be presumed lost.
