Range: — Honduras, Panama, Colombia to Bolivia (LP, SC), the range according to Fernandes (2015).
Ecology: —Moderately common; terrestrial in lowland and lower montane humid forests; 200–900(1500) m.
Notes: —Most similar to M. hostmannii and M. arborescens .

Range: —Southeastern Colombia and eastern Peru (Loreto); Bolivia (CO, LP, SC); Brazil.
Ecology: —Rare, known from three Bolivian collections; terrestrial in humid forests, swamps, along roadsides, and streams, often on white sands; 200–1400 m.
Notes: —Most other species of Meniscium lack glands and bear hairs, at least on costae and veins (except M. andreanum ).
