Diagnosis. Mandibles yellowish-brown with a large tooth at apex and with a row of small teeth above large tooth (as in Fig. 111 View FIGURES 103–112 ); flagellum 1.4× as long as width of mesoscutum, F4 1.5× as long as wide, apex of clava pointed, F1–F4 dark brown, F5 white with base brown, F6 white ( Figs 11 View FIGURES 7–12 , 60 View FIGURES 58–64 ); frons and vertex with weak reticulation ( Figs 86 View FIGURES 84–91 , 103 View FIGURES 103–112 ); occipital margin with a sharp carina throughout ( Fig. 86 View FIGURES 84–91 ); mesoscutum and mesoscutellum with same colour and reticulation ( Fig. 33 View FIGURES 31–36 ); mesoscutellum convex; dorsellum flat, smooth and shiny, posterior margin evenly rounded with small dents; fore wing with 5–6 setae in apico-dorsal part of costal cell, completely hyaline ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 7–12 ; fore coxa white, mid coxa yellowish-brown with median part black ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 7–12 ); gaster ( Fig. 33 View FIGURES 31–36 ) 1.9× as long as wide; Gt 1 0.4× as long as length of gaster, dorsal surface smooth, posterior margin curved slightly forwards; Gt 6 0.2× as long as length of gaster with anterior part 1.9× as wide as width of posterior part, posterior margin straight with sharp edge.

Description (female holotype). Length 1.9 mm. Frons and vertex with weak reticulation and shiny, scrobes smooth, frons with a few scattered setae between scrobes and eyes. Mandibles with a large tooth at apex and with a row of small teeth above large tooth. Occipital margin with a sharp carina throughout. Dorsellum flat, smooth and shiny, posterior margin ±evenly rounded with small dents. Propodeal callus with ten setae. Fore wing with six setae on dorsal surface of submarginal vein; with 16 admarginal setae; costal cell with 25 setae on ventral surface, partly in two rows, apico-dorsal margin with six setae; speculum distinct and closed below. Gaster long ovate; Gt 1 smooth and shiny without sculpture, remaining tergites with weak reticulation; Gt 1 with posterior margin curved slightly forwards, Gt 6 with posterior margin straight.

Colour. Head metallic bluish-green, scrobes black. Mandibles yellowish-brown.Antennae with scape yellowish-white, pedicel pale brown, F1–F4 dark brown, F5 white with base brown, F6 white. Mesosoma golden-green. Legs with fore coxa white, mid coxa yellowish-brown with median part black, hind coxa black with metallic tinges; trochanters yellowish-white; femora, tibiae and tarsi yellowish-brown. Gaster with Gt 1 metallic bluish-green, remaining tergites black with metallic tinges.

Variation. Length 1.6–1.9 mm. Costal cell with 5–6 setae in apico-dorsal part. Propodeal callus with 8–10 setae.

Male. Unknown.

Distribution. Costa Rica.

Etymology. From the Greek leukos = white, referring to the predominantly white antennal clava.

Material. Holotype female: COSTA RICA, Puntarenas, Reserva Privada Karen Mogensen , 9º52′N, 85º03′W, 305m, 23-24.ii.2007, J.S. Noyes ( NHMUK) GoogleMaps . Paratypes (3♀, MZLU, NHMUK) : 2♀ from same locality as holotype but collected 14-15.ii.2005 GoogleMaps ; 1♀ COSTA RICA, Puntarenas, Peninsula Osa, Puerto Jimenez , 8º32′N, 83º19′W, 10m, viii.1991, P. Hanson GoogleMaps .
