Probosca (Proboxantha) fuscipennis (Blair, 1923)

New records. Oman: Al Batinah North Gov., Farfarah (near Shinas) 24°42’45.697’’N 56°28’37.627’’E mangrove, saline, 1 m, Lgt. T. Kopecký 2.4.2018, 1♂ 1♀ ( RP); same locality, Leg. J. Větrovec 2.4.2018, 1 ♀ ( JV) .

Distribution and published records. The species was described from Persia ( Iran) ( Švihla, 1983) and then reported for Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Kuwait ( Švihla, 1983, 1984; Kubisz, 2020). News species for the fauna of Oman.

Notes. The biotope where the specimens were found is quite peculiar, being a sandy beach with mangrove trees ( Fig. 4c ).
